These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NovatypalCV and all related websites, dashboards, AI career tools, payment pages, and support channels operated by Maoog Software (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

NovatypalCV is an AI-assisted writing workspace for job applications. Every tool below operates on documents authored by the user, at the user’s request, and returns its output only to that user. The platform provides:

AI Document Drafting: Uses large language models to draft and rewrite the user’s own CV content and cover letters. Every output opens in an editor for the user to accept, change, or discard.
Job Tailoring: Compares the user’s document to a job listing they choose and suggests wording changes and terms the listing uses that the document does not. The output describes the document, not the user.
Link Analytics: Anonymous view counts on the documents a user chooses to publish via a share link. We do not identify, profile, or track the individuals who open those links.
Job Search: Search over publicly available job listings, ranked by keyword overlap with the user’s own document. This ranks listings, not people.
Application Workspace: Management of documents, version histories, public pages, and tracking of applications the user has sent.
Interview Practice: Private rehearsal against practice questions, with coaching notes returned only to the user. No real employer is involved and no result is shared with anyone.
Document Export: Export of documents in PDF and DOCX formats.

Certain features may be available on the free plan, while others require an active paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

you can form a legally binding agreement under applicable law,
the information you provide is accurate and current,
your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. User Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
all activities occurring under your account,
ensuring the information associated with your account remains accurate and up to date.

You must notify us promptly at support@novatypalcv.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Content

You may submit or upload content to the Service, including career documents, job descriptions, profile details, prompts, and related materials (“User Content”). You retain full ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and worldwide license to use, host, process, reproduce, and display such User Content solely to the extent necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that: you have the right to upload and use the User Content, your User Content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, your User Content does not violate applicable law, and your User Content is not unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or malicious.

5. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses AI systems to generate career-related outputs based on the information you provide. You acknowledge that:

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or formatting issues,
you are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated outputs before using them for job applications, professional submissions, or other real-world purposes,
the Service does not guarantee job interviews, hiring results, or compatibility with every employer screening system,
we do not use your private career content for unrelated commercial purposes or to train models without your consent.

6. No Automated Decision-Making About People

This clause is a binding commitment about what the Service is not. The Service:

does not make, and does not materially influence, any decision about a natural person. It performs no automated decision-making and no profiling within the meaning of Article 22 of the GDPR, and produces no decision with legal or similarly significant effects on anyone,
does not score, rank, grade, classify, or profile any individual. It produces no assessment of any person’s employability, competence, character, or suitability. Where the Service produces a numeric or qualitative output, that output describes a document or a job listing — never a human being,
is not a recruitment, screening, candidate-evaluation, or applicant-tracking tool, and is not offered, sold, or licensed to employers, recruiters, staffing agencies, or hiring platforms for the purpose of assessing candidates. You may not use the Service to evaluate, screen, filter, or rank any person other than yourself,
never transmits its output to an employer on your behalf. Where the Service prepares an application, it fills a form and presents it to you for review; the application is transmitted only when you yourself click submit. There is no unattended or automatic submission,
does not identify or profile the people who open your shared links. Link analytics are anonymous view counts only.

7. Subscription Plans

NovatypalCV offers one free tier and two paid tiers, each available on a monthly or annual billing cycle. Monthly and annual cycles of a tier include the same features; only the billing period and price differ.

Free Plan: No payment required. Includes 1 professional document, 5 AI credits per day, and PDF / DOCX export during a 7-day trial period.
Pro Plan — $29 / month or $180 / year (the annual price is equivalent to $15 / month): unlimited documents and versions, unlimited no-watermark PDF and editable DOCX export, tailoring a document to a specific job posting, application drafts queued for your review, view counts on the links you choose to share, 100 AI credits per day, and 10 fresh job searches per day.
Max Plan — $49 / month or $300 / year (the annual price is equivalent to $25 / month): everything in Pro, plus 500 AI credits per day, coaching notes on every interview question (how to approach the answer and what the interviewer is evaluating), and priority support.

Paid access begins immediately upon successful payment confirmation. Plan features, usage limits, and pricing may change over time; any such changes will be communicated in advance and will not affect the price of a billing period you have already paid for.

8. Billing and Payment

Payments are processed through our authorized payment provider, acting as our authorized payment service provider. They collect payment on our behalf and are identified by name on the checkout page. We remain the seller of the Service and are responsible for issuing your invoice and for handling any refund. By making a purchase, you agree to that provider’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms.

Paid access is sold for a fixed period and paid in advance. It does not renew automatically, no payment method is stored for future use, and you will not be charged again unless you start a new purchase yourself.

We do not store your full credit card number or card security code on our own servers. By making a purchase, you represent that: you are authorized to use the chosen payment method, the payment details you provide are accurate, and you understand the applicable price, taxes, and subscription conditions before purchase.

We may suspend or refuse paid access if payment is unsuccessful, reversed, disputed, or suspected to be fraudulent.

9. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@novatypalcv.com. Upon cancellation:

your Pro or Max access remains active until the end of the current paid billing period,
your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of that period,
you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.

10. Refunds

As a general principle, all sales of digital services (Pro and Max, monthly and annual) are final. However, refunds may be considered where a technical error prevented your subscription from activating after successful payment, where a duplicate charge occurred due to a system error, or where the Service was fundamentally unable to perform its core functions due to a fault on our side. Refund requests must be submitted to support@novatypalcv.com within 14 days of the original purchase and are processed back to the original payment method via our payment provider. The full terms, eligible circumstances, and process are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Where mandatory consumer protection law grants additional refund or withdrawal rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

use the Service for unlawful purposes,
upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content,
attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data,
interfere with the operation or security of the Service,
scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service beyond what is lawfully permitted,
use the Service to violate intellectual property, privacy, employment, or anti-discrimination laws,
impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if: you violate these Terms, your use creates legal, security, or operational risk, required by applicable law, or payment obligations are not fulfilled. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and any rights granted by law, the Service, its software, interface, branding, design, features, and related content are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the Service or Company intellectual property to you.

14. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party tools and providers including payment services, hosting and database infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), AI providers (Anthropic), a data-sourcing provider used for LinkedIn import (Apify), product analytics (PostHog), advertising conversion measurement (Google Ads), infrastructure analytics (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), and security (Arcjet). We are not responsible for the conduct or availability of third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law, and their separate terms and policies may apply.

15. Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, pricing, usage limits, design, and technical infrastructure. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice for significant changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. Use of the Service will not guarantee employment, job interviews, or specific career outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or reputation arising out of or related to the use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount paid by the user for the relevant paid Service during the most recent applicable billing period.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Company’s place of establishment. For users located in Türkiye, mandatory provisions of Turkish consumer and personal data protection law apply where relevant. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, the competent courts and consumer arbitration panels at the Company’s place of establishment shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the website, dashboard, or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
