Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of NovatypalCV and all related websites, dashboards, AI career tools, payment pages, and support channels operated by Maoog Software (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

NovatypalCV is an AI-powered career development platform that helps users manage, optimize, and accelerate their professional careers. The platform provides a suite of AI-driven tools including:

  • AI Career Narrative Engine: Analyzes job descriptions using large language models and intelligently rewrites career content for maximum relevance and impact.
  • Recruiter Analytics Dashboard: Real-time tracking of who views a user’s career profile, from which company, for how long, and with what engagement patterns.
  • Career Fit Scoring: Deep semantic scoring of career content against specific job listings, with one-click AI improvement suggestions.
  • LinkedIn Career Intelligence: Automated analysis of LinkedIn profiles to identify career gaps, missing keywords, and positioning opportunities.
  • Career Operating System: Centralized management of career documents, version histories, public career pages, and job application tracking.
  • Document Export: Export of career documents in PDF and DOCX formats.

Certain features may be available on the free plan, while others require an active paid subscription.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Service only if:

  • you can form a legally binding agreement under applicable law,
  • the information you provide is accurate and current,
  • your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or third-party rights.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. User Account

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials,
  • all activities occurring under your account,
  • ensuring the information associated with your account remains accurate and up to date.

You must notify us promptly at support@maoog.software if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. User Content

You may submit or upload content to the Service, including career documents, job descriptions, profile details, prompts, and related materials (“User Content”). You retain full ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and worldwide license to use, host, process, reproduce, and display such User Content solely to the extent necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you.

You represent and warrant that: you have the right to upload and use the User Content, your User Content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, your User Content does not violate applicable law, and your User Content is not unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, or malicious.

5. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses AI systems to generate career-related outputs based on the information you provide. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or formatting issues,
  • you are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated outputs before using them for job applications, professional submissions, or other real-world purposes,
  • the Service does not guarantee job interviews, hiring results, or compatibility with every employer screening system,
  • we do not use your private career content for unrelated commercial purposes or to train models without your consent.

6. Subscription Plans

NovatypalCV offers the following access tiers:

  • Free Plan: Limited access to core career document creation tools. Includes 1 professional document, basic AI credits, and watermarked PDF export. No payment required.
  • Pro Plan — Monthly: Full access to all AI career intelligence tools, recruiter analytics, unlimited career documents and versions, no-watermark PDF and editable DOCX export, public career pages, and priority support. Billed at $29 per month.
  • Pro Plan — Annual: Same full Pro access as the monthly plan, billed at $99 per year (equivalent to approximately $8.25/month).

Paid access begins immediately upon successful payment confirmation. Plan features, usage limits, and pricing may change over time; any such changes will be communicated in advance.

7. Billing and Payment

Payments are processed through Paddle, our authorized Merchant of Record and payment service provider. Paddle handles all payment processing, tax collection, and billing management on our behalf. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle’s terms and policies in addition to these Terms.

We do not store your full credit card number or card security code on our own servers. By making a purchase, you represent that: you are authorized to use the chosen payment method, the payment details you provide are accurate, and you understand the applicable price, taxes, and subscription conditions before purchase.

We may suspend or refuse paid access if payment is unsuccessful, reversed, disputed, or suspected to be fraudulent.

8. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@maoog.software. Upon cancellation:

  • your Pro access remains active until the end of the current paid billing period,
  • your account reverts to the Free plan at the end of that period,
  • you will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.

9. Refunds

As a general principle, all sales of digital SaaS subscriptions are final. However, refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • a technical error caused the subscription not to be activated after successful payment,
  • a duplicate (double) charge occurred due to a system error,
  • the Service was fundamentally unable to perform its core functions due to a technical fault on our side.

Refund requests must be submitted to support@maoog.software within 14 days of the original purchase. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Paddle. Refund timing may vary depending on your bank or card issuer. Where mandatory consumer protection law grants additional refund rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful purposes,
  • upload malicious code, spam, or harmful content,
  • attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ data,
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Service,
  • scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or exploit the Service beyond what is lawfully permitted,
  • use the Service to violate intellectual property, privacy, employment, or anti-discrimination laws,
  • impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if: you violate these Terms, your use creates legal, security, or operational risk, required by applicable law, or payment obligations are not fulfilled. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Intellectual Property

Except for User Content and any rights granted by law, the Service, its software, interface, branding, design, features, and related content are owned by or licensed to the Company and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights in the Service or Company intellectual property to you.

13. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party tools and providers including payment services (Paddle), hosting infrastructure (Vercel, Supabase), email delivery (Resend), AI providers (Anthropic), analytics (Vercel Analytics), and others. We are not responsible for the conduct or availability of third-party services to the extent permitted by applicable law, and their separate terms and policies may apply.

14. Availability and Changes

We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, pricing, usage limits, design, and technical infrastructure. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice for significant changes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated outputs will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific use case. Use of the Service will not guarantee employment, job interviews, or specific career outcomes. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or reputation arising out of or related to the use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount paid by the user for the relevant paid Service during the most recent applicable billing period.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Company’s place of establishment. For users located in Türkiye, mandatory provisions of Turkish consumer and personal data protection law apply where relevant. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, the competent courts and consumer arbitration panels at the Company’s place of establishment shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the website, dashboard, or email. Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
